At Codie / Codiemarket, we value our customers and strive to provide high-quality digital products (templates, ready-made applications, and complete code). This policy regulates consumer rights for refunds in accordance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and related executive regulations, taking into account the unique nature of digital products.

General Rule

Consumers have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of payment if they have not downloaded the product, activated it, or received the code. Once the digital product is downloaded or the codes/files are received, the consumer cannot request a refund unless there is a defect or substantial error in the product.

Cases Where Refunds are Accepted for Digital Products

  • If the file is corrupted or has a technical issue preventing its operation.
  • If the received product differs substantially from the description or presentation published on the site.
  • If there was an error in sending the download link or codes.

Cases Where Refunds are Not Accepted

  • After downloading the files or receiving the codes and successfully opening them.
  • If the product matches the description and the file is technically sound.
  • Requests made more than 14 days after the date of purchase.

Refund Request Process

  2. Send the order number and description of the issue (preferably with screenshots/images proving the technical defect or discrepancy).
  3. After reviewing the request within 5 business days, you will be notified of acceptance or rejection with the reason stated.
  4. If accepted, the refund will be processed within 14 business days using the same payment method or via bank transfer.

Complaints and Legal Reference

Note: This policy is specific to downloadable digital products. Once a product is downloaded or activated, certain refund rights are forfeited under Egyptian law. We advise our customers to read the description thoroughly before completing a purchase.
